In the fall of 2010, I founded my own paranormal research group—a chapter of my life that would shape me in ways I never expected. What began as curiosity and exploration quickly turned into years of travel, investigations, conventions, and public events. Along the way, I formed lifelong connections within the paranormal community and experienced moments I will always carry with me.
In 2012, our journey even led us to national television with a feature on the cable show My Ghost Story. During that season of my life, I had gently set aside my spiritual gifts and intuitive work, choosing instead to fully embrace the adventure, the friendships, and the incredible experiences that came with the research team. It was a time of exploration, discovery, and human connection.
Though I stepped away from formal spiritual practice during those years, the sensitivity, intuition, and awareness never truly left me. They simply evolved—quietly, patiently—until the time came to return to my roots.
The creation of Crimson Clarke is the bridge between all of those chapters: the seeker, the investigator, the intuitive, and the guide. Every experience—both mystical and grounded—has led me back to the work I do today: helping others understand themselves through astrology, tarot, and numerology.
In my early twenties, I was deeply rooted in spiritual growth and intuitive development. Over time, I chose to set that part of myself aside to focus on the material world—college, career, and building a stable life. While that chapter brought growth and success, living solely in the physical and practical world was never enough for me. I missed the deep spiritual connection that once nourished my soul.
In 2018, everything shifted during an investigation when I crossed paths with a small, eclectic group of individuals, each carrying their own unique spiritual gifts. What began as a shared experience soon became close friendship. Through their presence, encouragement, and shared understanding, I found my way back to spirit—one careful step at a time. Choosing to return to that part of myself was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
I learned that balance—not extremes—was what my soul truly needed. Some people choose to live fully in the spiritual world, while others remain grounded strictly in the material. For me, the harmony between the two is where I thrive. It is where I feel most alive, most aligned, and most whole.
This website was originally created for our research team, Appalachian Truth Seekers. After COVID, the site saw little movement as our investigations slowed. Today, we lovingly joke that we are partially retired ghost hunters, only doing one to two large hunts a year. At one point, I even considered shutting the site down completely.
But something unexpected happened. Friends, clients, and members of my circle—people I had read for over the years—began encouraging me to share my gifts more publicly. I started receiving messages from people telling me how a reading had helped them heal, move forward, gain clarity, or find peace. Their words became a mirror, reminding me of the purpose I had once set aside.
So here I am, answering that quiet, persistent calling— using my writing and magickal name, Crimson Clarke.
